When he wasn't sculpting, writing or working on one of his inventions, Ernesto drew.
In the Early 1990's, Ernesto would sit at the typewriter until he was too tired to sit, then lay in bed sketching and drawing until he fell asleep. Over 70 years old at the time, Ernesto produced hundreds of pencil sketches and drawings of his ghoti and phantasmic characters.
